rareddy commented 5 months ago

Add project ideas for Kubeflow's application to Google Summer of Code 2024, aiming to participate as an organization and recruit student contributors

google-oss-prow[bot] commented 5 months ago

Hi @rareddy. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubeflow member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available [here](https://git.k8s.io/community/contributors/guide/pull-requests.md). If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the [kubernetes/test-infra](https://github.com/kubernetes/test-infra/issues/new?title=Prow%20issue:) repository.

@jbottum @thesuperzapper can you approve this please?

rareddy commented 5 months ago

Can we get this PR approved and merged please this is time sensitive as I need to provide a URL to link to GSoC program.

jbottum commented 5 months ago

/lgtm because of time deadline but would like to see Andrey's comment addressed.

andreyvelich commented 5 months ago

/lgtm Let's merge it and make the appropriate changes in the following PR.

andreyvelich commented 5 months ago

/assign @akgraner @jbottum @thesuperzapper for the approval

thesuperzapper commented 5 months ago

@rareddy can you please remove people's emails from the PR, as we don't want to publish those?

Also while you are doing it, fix that small typo raised by @andreyvelich, otherwise its find to merge for now, and we can update later.

After this, we can put a more prominent link in the "docs" section to the "events" section, probably in the top-level of the sidebar, rather than only under the "about" section (or at least adding an "events" link to the top-bar).

@thesuperzapper so move the "events" to the same level "about" in side bar. Should I replace "kubeflow summit" one with "events" too perhaps in top-bar?

thesuperzapper commented 5 months ago

@rareddy we can probably just comment out the Kubeflow Summit one for now, and replace it with the Kubecon EU 2024 (once we have a page for that).

But we can add an "Events" button up there, and possibly rename "Documentation" to "Docs" for less space usage (but lets do that in a separate PR).
