Project status

Hi all, I am sig-scheduling co-chair, I see that this project is not super active and I am wondering about the status of this project?

Yes, there hasn't been activity for few months now. We will hopefully resurrect follow on activities soon. Thanks.

@deepak-vij We'll need to do a little bit of "repo maintenance" to continue. 1) Outside collaborators need to be removed or become members of the kubernetes-sigs org. (ref: https://github.com/kubernetes/community/issues/3178). This includes:

• @deepak-vij - Implicitly allowed to join k-sigs as a member of kubernetes.
• @dhilipkumars - Implicitly allowed to join k-sigs as a member of kubernetes.
• @shivramsrivastava - Not an org member, will need to apply for membership.
• @ms705 - Not an org member and has had no activity with the project since March 2018.
• @ICGog - Not an org member and has has no activity with the project since March 2018. 2) Create GitHub teams for admins and maintainers (those that have admin or write access to the repo). This should be updated to reflect the current "owners" of the project - The list of people that have rights to the repo at the moment include:
• @ms705 - admin
• @ICGog - admin
• @m1093782566 - write
• @shivramsrivastava - write
• @deepak-vij - admin
• @shashidharatd - write
• @irfanurrehman - write
• @dhilipkumars - write 2) Establish new OWNERS and make sure the SECURITY_CONTACTS is up to date. These should be members that are actively involved with the project. 3) The gitter chat link needs to be removed from the README.md. Chat related to projects needs to be done through Kubernetes slack, mailing lists etc -- These are things where we have moderators and can enforce the Code of Conduct.

With that, how would you like to proceed?
