/kind bug

What happened? PV doesn't reclaim storage after PVC has been deleted. It's throwing an error:

What you expected to happen? PV to reclaim storage after PVC removal.

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)? Apply:

apiVersion: storage.k8s.io/v1beta1
kind: CSIDriver
metadata:
  name: efs.csi.aws.com
spec:
  attachRequired: false
---
kind: StorageClass
apiVersion: storage.k8s.io/v1
metadata:
  name: efs-sc
provisioner: efs.csi.aws.com
---
apiVersion: v1
kind: PersistentVolume
metadata:
  name: neo4j-test-pv
spec:
  capacity:
    storage: 100Gi
  volumeMode: Filesystem
  accessModes:
    - ReadWriteOnce
  persistentVolumeReclaimPolicy: Delete
  storageClassName: efs-sc
  csi:
    driver: efs.csi.aws.com
    volumeHandle: fs-xyz
---
apiVersion: v1
kind: PersistentVolumeClaim
metadata:
  name: neo4jtest
spec:
  accessModes:
    - ReadWriteMany
  storageClassName: efs-sc
  resources:
    requests:
      storage: 25Gi

And remove PVC.

Having same issue, did you find any solution that helps? @nicon89

nicon89 commented 1 year ago

Unfortunately no.

76creates commented 1 year ago

Do you use alternative CSI for EFS? @nicon89

nicon89 commented 1 year ago

I stopped working with this project - I don't use EFS anymore :)
