External DNS Not Respecting f5 Virtual Server HostAliase #4543

Closed MohamadTahir closed 1 day ago

MohamadTahir commented 5 months ago

What happened: we are creating an F5 virtual server resource on our cluster and the external DNS is not creating records for those host alias

What you expected to happen: We're expecting the external DNS to create records for the hostAlias too

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible): Create an F5 Virtual server with host alias.

apiVersion: cis.f5.com/v1
kind: VirtualServer
metadata:
  name: f5-vr
spec:
  host: example.com
  hostAliases:
    - another.example.com
    - yetanother.example.com
  httpMrfRoutingEnabled: true
  ipamLabel: default
  persistenceProfile: cookie
  policyName: name
  pools:
    - path: /
      service: myservice
      serviceNamespace: myservice-namespace
      servicePort: 443
  tlsProfileName: tlsProfile
  virtualServerName: myvirtual-server
