Events for cluster scoped CRs #1262

Open andreaskaris opened 1 year ago

andreaskaris commented 1 year ago

Where should events for cluster scoped CRs be created? Does it have to be the default namespace? If so, are there any plans to either add events for cluster scoped CRs to the namespace of the controller, or alternatively to have cluster-scoped events?

The same questions as in: https://github.com/kubernetes/client-go/issues/781 https://github.com/kubernetes/client-go/issues/1110

I hope that third time's a charm ;-)
