Unicorn ASCII art! We need some fuzzy bunny telling the user that they need DNS.
I am assuming the mentions of unicorn ascii art was a hint for me to jump in here 🦄
What is our concern here? UX with the CLI workflow in kops? And what kops does when user doesn't have DNS set up correctly? I would love to take this one - just want to make sure I understand what we are looking for.
Cheers
We've made lots of changes to enable private hosted zones. We create them automatically, we link them to the VPC. It remains hard to connect to the API if you're using a private hosted zone (possible workaround would be to a public ELB, and use that ELB's host name to connect, but that's doesn't work very well because the cert name doesn't match.)
We have docs in PR anyway..

One way or another, we need to make the "I don't have a domain name" UX great.
