Create a SECURITY_CONTACTS file. #463

Closed jessfraz closed 6 years ago

jessfraz commented 6 years ago

As per the email sent to kubernetes-dev[1], please create a SECURITY_CONTACTS file.

The template for the file can be found in the kubernetes-template repository[2]. A description for the file is in the steering-committee docs[3], you might need to search that page for "Security Contacts".

Please feel free to ping me on the PR when you make it, otherwise I will see when you close this issue. :)

Thanks so much, let me know if you have any questions.

(This issue was generated from a tool, apologies for any weirdness.)

Thanks for opening this, and sorry for not seeing it on the mailing list! We (sig-instrumentation) already have a discussion planned for the sig charter template (above [3]) for our next meeting (31.05.2018), we should have a PR out for this shortly after.

One question regarding the format of the SECURITY_CONTACTS file. Is the convention simply to put the name there or also contact information? I'm thinking:

alice <alice@example.com>

The example states only a name, is that intentional?

Seems sig-instrumentation related repos has been added to the https://github.com/kubernetes/community/blob/master/sigs.yaml#L880-L933

No emails.. as that would be private data stored in a repo, just the username is great, we have scraping for the rest :)
