I'd love to see a Steam logo!

I have known nothing of "Steam"... Could you tell me about it??

Steam is the (largest?) PC games distribution system. It has a community social networking system built into it so that you can play games with friends and see what games friends have been playing, etc. Gamers share their Steam profile page so that others can connect with them and perhaps see their wishlist to buy presents and whatnot.
