Currently, bookmarks are only accessible by navigating to the frontpage and clicking the link. This makes it a bit annoying to get to the bookmarks and definitely less discoverable than having it available in the [:nav ...] section.
However, there is really no space for a hyperlink in the nav section, so it may be a better idea to have a CSS dropdown when hovering the bookmark star icon, whilst keeping the slightly inaccessible hyperlink on the frontpage in place too (since CSS dropdowns are not very accessible e.g. on mobile/tablets).
This dropdown could have the latest couple of bookmarks directly available + a hyperlink to the bookmarks page labeled "Show more..." or something like that.
