Frontend error fallback mechanism #86

In cases where the frontend errors out, the frontend currently just breaks.

Instead, what should happen is that

a message should be displayed to the user presenting some options
- try the same action again (reload)
- go back one page (and reload)
- send the error to the developer (nice-to-have)
- probably entails logging the frontend error or storing it in the database
