Password required to add an LDAP user.

When adding an LDAP user, the user cannot be saved until a password is entered. 
 LDAP users accounts authenticate against the LDAP server, so why is a password 
required?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable LDAP Authentication
2. Click Add User in Configuration
3. Enter username and choose "ldap" for authentication.
4. Click "Save".

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Nothing happens.  It should save without a password being entered.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mollify 2.5.5 on Ubuntu 12.04
