Interface cleanup - User list hidden by properties pane #541

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
When there is a long list of users, the pop-up properties pane that contains
the folders and groups covers the bottom of the list. It would be better to
resize the user list to allow scrolling down to the bottom while the properties
pane is visible.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mollify 2.5.8

I did consider this, but the problem is that with smaller screen sizes, one of
the contents becomes uselessly small. The vertical space is not enough for
useful list and properties panel at the same time.

Also, making such layout would also mean that the panel would have to be inside
the main content area (right side) instead of the entire viewport as it is now,
making it narrower, which makes the vertical space even more crucial.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to examine the list when you are editing a
user?

My issue was with closing the panel. I've since discovered there's an X button
at the top right of the panel, but it's partially obscured by the scroll bar.
Perhaps the X button and the username heading should be outside of the
scrollable area.
