Left navigation bar isn't completely hidden #132

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. After login, click the menu show/hide button
2. The left navigation bar doesn't completely hide
3. The left navigation bar might be short in some pages

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The bar should fill the left portion of the page. And should be completely 
hidden when the show/hide button is clicked.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
Fixing styles for these nav bar and section should solve the problem.
