G30 Qiujun Jin ：Thank you for your good question , Haojun ! After we read some relative references, we found a signal data transforming method . We randomly sampled the segmented time series signals in a fixed length of like 1024, then reshaped and mapped them into gray-scale images. So that we turned this problem into an image classification problem , then using CNN is reasonable. If you have more questions, feel free to raise further, thank you.
