The general rule is to use the firmware from the designer of the PCB. What you've described sounds like the pins in the firmware don't match the ones on the physical board. I myself have made a few iterations of the 18-key split board and each one has a specific and unique firmware repo.
1) Have you made my Kunst Board (or another one of my kbs) or did you make Ben Vallacks (or someone else's)?
2) Where did you get the PCB from, and what is it called?

I ended up changing the pins in the firmware and it now works in all key spots, but how do I access the bluetooth layer in your layout for the kunst keyboard? thanks
When I flash the firmware to the keeb, some keys are typing the wrong numbers and letters while others dont type anything at all? Im not sure why of this. Ive been asking around on discord and no one seems to know why, Some people said that the "firmware pins seem incorrect". Not sure if thats right, just a thought. Id love to hop on a call, or message over this to figure this out. Thanks.
