Had to upload the patch file to wobzip.com, get that website to unzip it,
download it
as a zip file and then patch the site.
I don't believe this to be a true .zip file, even if it is zipped. Wrong
extension?

go to http://www.wobzip.com - you can unzip it and download a zip file they give
you... that one will be legit

Yes, the patch zip file is empty or invalid.
Please fix this.
You can use winzip to compress it, then it will be valid.

He zipped it with some odd utility.
If you change the extension to rar then winrar will extract it.

If he can not even zip a file, be sure you back up you joomla code before
applying
the so called "patch".

I think I get this error too and I think I found the solution for it. When I
downloaded the patch file, and test it.. I got some errors. To fix the error
was to
simple rename the actual zip file itself.. since I think there is a ? inside the
name. Removing the ? or just changing it to some new name would fix the
problem. I
hope this helps.
Btw, I got problem on the actual plugin itself, the image doesn't appear, the
page
keeps on loading without any image showing. In issue 17 has the same problem,
but in
the comment, someone point out 'disc.group' - what is that and where can i find
it?
Any ideas? Thanks

I think it's a language thing -- there must be foreign characters in the name
which
are confusing the unzip programs. Maxilla55 has the right idea. Just delete
the
name of the file and call it anything else -- I named mine "blob.zip" and it
then
worked fine.

How do I get support for this? I get the images just fine, but they don't do
anything. I can still login and send contact forms if I type in the wrong
codes.
Is this an issue with the plugin?

12 send promlems to group or joomla forum
You must install patches for all components and modules to Captcha to work.
(JС43
Patch Joomla 1.5.9 for Joomla Captcha 4.3.0 Stable) See "Joomla Captcha
Compatibly"
label for custom templates, modules and components that you wish to install on
your
site!

How to do the Installation in the Joomla Administration Panel?
In the instructions here:
http://code.google.com/p/joomla15captcha/wiki/Installation
...the screenshot is Extension > Install/Uninstall
...but in Joomla 1.0.15, the options are Installers > Templates-Site
...or Installers > Templates-Admin
...which one should be used?
...Or does joomla15captcha not work on 1.0.15?
Thanks!
