captcha not showing up

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
joomla 1.5.8 and the related captcah from krupla.net.

Please provide any additional information below.

i was using securityimages from cedric walter but sometimes ago they
stopped working.so i uninstalled it and then i installed this captcha...all
went fine but the ccatcha are not showing up anywhere.

You have non standart template on your site. See "Joomla Captcha Compatibly" 
label 
in templates that you wish to install on your site, or change it manually.
Core of joomla captcha work fine: http://www.people-

I am having the same problem. My template is obviously not compatible with 
Joomla
Captcha so now the question is "HOW" to change it manually? I only need it for 
the
registration and contact form. Thanks for any help.

How do I get this to work with jomsocial register, it work fine on the joomla 
register, forgot password, and created new account but some how I can't figure 
it 
out to show on jomsocial register

i'm unable to find the sample files you refered to in comment 5.  I have 
everything
installed but can not see the actual captcha...see example here

I'm using JSN_Epic_free template.  will it just not work with this template?

do i find documentation to make it work with a new template?
