I'd very much like to second that!
Especially since I have just created an issue to suggest the removal of IoTaWatt from Home Assistant Core (since we can use this one that actually works without errors): https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/104080
It's mostly just adding a few folders to structure, as well as a hacs.json
file.
This would be beneficial, apart from easy installation, using HACS would also mean that any updates to the code/version would be visible in HACS, allowing users to see and know when to update their installation.
This integration can't be installed via HACS (which is probably the most common way of installing custom integrations in HomeAssistant) due to the repository structure.
Could the repo be updated to make that process easier?
