You can borrow mine if you want to install and play with it, but I'm probably not going to release it to the AUR any time soon.
Why wouldn't you release it to AUR, @Atamisk ?
@intmainreturnzero : I don't want to release it to AUR, at least for now, because:
@intmainreturnzero : I don't want to release it to AUR, at least for now, because:
1. I've never maintained anything on the AUR before 2. The current package requires a patch to function in arch, and this may change as more visibility comes to this project and pull requests come in. 3. The code currently isn't production ready, imho. See, for example, [my other issue](https://github.com/kuravih/gllock/issues/3)
Don't let this be a reason to not do it. Even if your PKGBUILD is utter bullshit (spoiler: it's not), people on the AUR will help you to get better :)
That wouldn't be that much of a problem, as you can simply provide the patch into the AUR. Sure, it's not the tidiest, but as long as it works...
Totally understand this! And yes, I would wait also until this is fixed. Hope it will soon, your work is awesome eyecandy!
@Trollwut I appreciate your comments, just know that this isn't my repository! I'm the guy with the PKGBUILD, @kuravih deserves all the credit for the eye candy!
oof, look at how good I'm at reading usernames!
Well then… take everything but that comment with the nice eyecandy, which belongs to @kuravih :D
wow, that was quick... thanks mate!
Also, wtf, that git repo is over 220MB big, woweyzowey!
Installed your package via yay
and it worked out of the box, very cool. :)
So the issue is solved, IMHO, but I leave it open to the repo owner to decide whether it should be closed.
Yes the git repo is huge, it's mostly the GIFs on the readme. There's an open issue for it. I'm glad it worked out for ya!
Maybe unrelated but, is it there a way to choose the shader to use before yay
compilation starts?
Hey folks!
Saw the demo via reddit and loved it. Are there any plans on releasing it to the Arch's User Repository?
Would make installing and updating a bliss.
