add replace/add mode as done on iphone mpd client

I think that a switch on the screen ( or maybe in menu ) to switch between 
an add or replace mode on the artists, files and album would be a good 
usability addition

scenario
Album XX is in playlist and playing
I want to listen to YY
current solution:
1- go to playlist
2- clear -> sound stops
3- go to artist window
4- add artist
5- back to main menu
6- play -> the sound is back

a much better workflow would be

1- go to playlist
2- clisk the replace mode switch
3- add artist -> the old album got removed from playlist and the new one 
starts playing automatically

What do you thing ?

I too think this would be a good feature.  Sonata on Linux has a similar 
feature.  Perhaps when hold press and hold on an artist, it would give you the 
option to "add to queue" or "replace queue".  I hope this makes sense, great 
software!!!
