I think it would improve usability if it would be possible to move between 
main/artists/albums/files using gesture instead of having to use the menu 
button as it is implemented now.

Maybe using different orthogonal directions for different things would help. 
For 
example vertical would switch between main/artists/albums/file activities and 
horizontal go to next/prev song. that way we could free up space on screen and 
enable 
bigger cover widget.

I think something like this is needed. Currently I have to press too many 
buttons to
clear a playlist and then head to artists/albums to add more. A bigger cover 
widget
is always a good idea.
