Hello, I wanted to use the kernel for D5 wear (no.1 mediatek). Do you think that this kernel source code can work with D5 mt6572 device ?

Do we also need device tree for our device ?

Thanks, Ran

You must have ProjectConfig.mk (The file in Android file system /system/msic/ProjectConfig.mk). This is Mediatek device config file.

I'm afraid not. I had one uploaded but was slapped with a DMCA and it was deleted.

Hi,

Thank you very much. I successfully use TWRP with this device (TWRP mediatek "magic" installer). Doesn't it meak that the kernel for D5 is freely available somewhere ? If yes - where can I find it ? Isn't TWRP for mediatek source code is available some ?

Thank you! Ranchu
