I don't know if it's possible to access this data, especially because there is no internal chrome:// page for it like the chrome://apps page, but it would be a nice feature!

sadly I don't think this can be done, I've found nothing about this in the api documentation :/

Not possible with the rewrite. (chrome.sessions would make that possible, but that needs a background page)
