Describe the bug
I'm using Element as a VST host for a single audio sequencer. I've been finding that when I sync it to an external MIDI clock the tempo fluctuates a lot, especially after I first press play.
To Reproduce
Plug in external MIDI device that can send clock (it might also happen without it needing to be external - I will try it)
Set up Element for an external clock and add some sort of sequencer VST to test timing
Press play on external clock source
Observe tempo fluctuating from very slow and gradually reaching the expected tempo and continuing to fluctuate +-1 or 2 bpm
Expected behavior
Tempo should not be adjusted so quickly on pressing play and irregularities should be smoothed out more effectively so that everything remains musical
