There are two ways.
One is the edit the history dotfile (not recommended).
The other is to edit the new daily and use the restore streak option at the bottom to make them match, and then edit the old daily.
I'm not sure how that'll affect the perfect streak buffs though, so be warned.
Also, be aware of this bug.
Hi, @crookedneighbor. Thanks for your help. Did you mean "and then delete the old daily" at the end of that?
Yeah, I did mean that.
@cygnoir Have you resolved this issue? I'm going to close this because it seems like this can be resolved without anything on our end.
This can be closed but note that the extended statistics on the HabitRPG task are lost with this method. Only the streak count is kept.
I have a couple of HabitRPG dailies with long streaks (one is at 668) that I'd like to sync up with Todoist so I don't have to go to HabitRPG to check them off. However, when I make a task in Todoist named exactly the same thing, it just creates a new daily in HabitRPG.
Is there any way to merge the two so I don't want to lose the HabitRPG progress stats?
