ESB 2.0.2 makes unreadable dark themes in Firefox #35

Hello ESB 2.0.2 causes unreadability of dark themes of Firefox. Personally I use the latest beta version of NASA Night Launch. but I tested it with several other dark themes and the problem remained. Regards

kustodian commented 9 years ago

Is this the theme you are talking about?

Yes, the last beta version is always available on http://mcdavis.dreamhosters.com/nnlopenbeta/index.html

FWIW, ESB 2.0.2 is also broken in NNL version 0.6.20140901, the last official version supporting FF28. ESB 1.5.10 works fine, though.

Looks like I'm rolling back too (and disabling updates for it).

It not only affects the status bar, but messes up most Firefox windows.

If needed: I use an old version of FT DeepDark with FF28. Was 2.0 made for Australis? I'd sooner move to another browser than be forced to use that.

Could you please provide screenshots with messed up windows, so that we know what to look for.

I also confirm messing up with DeepDark theme in ESB2.0.2 (although, can already been fixed in trunk). All checkboxes marks, radiobutton marks and even tab/panel close buttons disappears after enabling (even if any other addon disabled) ESB 2.0.2 AND restart firefox (so, it seems, it s related to initial Fx's CSS loading). Take a look on screnshots on ABP settings page as example. ESB Disabled: esb_deepdark_esb_disabled ESB Enabled: esb_deepdark_esb_enabled

This should be now resolved. Thanks for reporting.

This will be released with the next version of ESB.
