With bluetooth, mic works, but speaker doesn't #607

Sipdroid 1.5.5 on Motorola Droid with Android 2.2
Call using pbxes and gizmo 5
Bluetooth headset paired with phone
Sipdroid enabled for bluetooth audio
Bluetooth headset: Motorola H525

Only the bluetooth headset's microphone works when I call using Sipdroid. The
bluetooth headset's speaker doesn't work. Instead, Sipdroid uses the speaker of
the phone itself. So you basically must have the bluetooth on one ear and the
phone on the other to be able to talk!

I tested it several times. When I activate bluetooth on Sipdroid --which shows
the blue phone icon--, the bluetooth headset's microphone starts working, but
sipdroid continues to use the speaker of the phone itself.

Expected behavior: Both the mic and the speaker shoud work on the bluetooth
headset when "bluetooth" option is activated on Sipdroid.

Thanks to all the developers for this awesome app.

I think this is NOT the same issue described in 561. I read 561 before posting.
Merging two different issues probably won't help.

I have a
Moto Droid 2.2
SipDroid 1.5.5
Moto H700 handset

I also have the same problem, no speaker audio in the headset (H700) on a SIP
call, transmit works fine. There is full two way audio on a regular phone call

elentz,

We are experiencing the same issue indeed. Bluetooth works fine on regular
call, but with Sipdroid, the only thing that works is the bluetooth's headset's
mic, not the speaker.

I've Opposite case, where Out-Sound works into the Bluetooth speakers while the
in-audio comes from the device mic not from the bluetooth speaker

currently i can't see the Bluetooth option during the call, but before 2 days i
was able to see it and everything was working nicely

device: Samsung Galaxy Tab
bluetooth: SoundID 150

I have the same issue. Sound through the Bluetooth headset [Icon] speaker, but
the microphone is on the Galaxy Tab.
