WHAT THE HELL!@%! (a.k.a. where is the number pad while in a call?) #704

Nexus One.

I've used sipdroid for awhile. Currently running 1.6.1.

I only use it occasionally.

I should not allow it to auto-update, as frequently I discover the new versions
gain some unpleasant bug.

Today while making an important call, I discovered there is no number pad
available while in a call.

Where did the motherfucking number pad go? Seriously people. I realize
you're not getting paid to develop this piece of shit, but at this stage I
would pay you negative money.

Sorry about my profanity, clearly I find this change/bug? more than slightly
irritating.

I went ahead and installed older versions with the following result:

1.5.7 is the same.
1.3.7 still has the number pad.

Was this intentional? The other big problem I've had is with DTMF. Maybe
some people can just whistle the tones?

Just a guess, maybe this broke after issue# 539 fixed in 1.5.4? It seems to
have to do with that part of the interface...

I found copies of 1.5.3 and 1.5.4 on the net, keypad still works in both of
them. I'll keep searching for the versions between 1.5.4 and 1.5.7 to figure
out where it breaks. If someone can fix my title and censor my colorful
language, please feel free. Apologies for flying off the handle.

Found a copy of 1.5.5, and it still has a keypad (working). I cannot find
1.5.6 anywhere online for download, but 1.5.7 is broken. So, either 1.5.6 or
1.5.7 breaks the keypad.

DTMF Drawer ist not visible in landscape mode.

This should not be a problem on a Nexus One. You can easily turn into portrait.

For Archos tablets we have allowed orientation to be switched as well.

Who said anything about landscape mode? This was not working in portrait as
of the versions I mention here, and probably a few more recent.

Now that Android 2.3 is out I don't have to use sipdroid anymore. Thank god.
