this seems a weird one to me, but here is what happens. I have sipdroid
working through me trixbox, when i test a cal by calling from one intrenal
extention to the android extension it seems ok, in as far as it rings etc and i
can pick up the call. but when i pick up the call and place the phone to my ear
the incoming sound/ voice cuts out, if i put the android on speaker it seems to
be ok, I also noticed if i keep it on speaker then i can se the call display
on the screen. if i put it to my ear then the screen turns off.

any ideas on whats going wrong here, or what i have set wrong on the android
phone?

thanks
dave

Which phone model are you using? If everything went well the corresponding
option in wireless options, "Keep screen on" should have automatically been
enabled for your phone model.

Did you manually change the mention option, or is it set incorrectly from the
beginning? How is it set?

here is what i did, i downgraded to 1.5.7 still seemed the saem, so downgraded
again to 1.3.7 still the same, then upgraded back to 1.6.1 "keep screen on"
was always ticked in wireless, now after upgraded back to 1.6.1 it seem to be
better at least with internal call, not received any inward calls on it yet.
Screen now stay on when i put to ear and not turns it's self off. Don't know
why as "keep screen on" was always ticked
