Ender Rift focus from Thaumic Tinkerer is one of the few items left that can bypass item transportation restrictions to the spirit world. Since Focus Pouch is a Bauble, and Baubles can be transported, it seems more feasible to disable this item than to fix the Bauble part.
That means removing the recipe and ideally the research as well.
