Manual Chapter Bookmarks #59

This might be the easiest issue ever to resolve but could you publish the
documentation with a chapter tree. Not sure what it exactly is that adobe
calls it(maybe bookmarks or chapter bookmarks. it's on the left side of
the adobe acrobat program and it shows a tree view of the entire document
to jump to specific chapters or subsections), but it would make navigating
the document a lot easier.

Thanks for the request. Adobe do call them bookmarks, which is a very silly
name as
the user can't move them - they're really just a table of contents.

I don't think that I can very easily add them. The PDF is generated from a Pages
document on a Mac which doesn't appear to have an option for this. There might
be a
way, but one thing to note as a stopgap is that the contents page does have live
links to the different sections so that can be helpful in navigating.

The documentation is now mosty coverted to Sphinx, so once I'll concentrate on
the
PDF (with bookmarks) once the HTML version is out the door.

Done for version 1.2. The documentation is now also online and searchable with
cross-references which is probably more convenient than the PDF.
