Pro-B10 won't run if built with GCC 4.6 #438

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Build Pro-B10 using GCC 4.6
2. Try to install PROUPDATE
3. PSP will just shut itself down because of a freeze

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected PROUPDATE to run and install. Instead it froze

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using GCC 4.6 built from the scripts/patches here:
https://github.com/pspdev/psptoolchain
I'm using Sabayon

Please provide any additional information below.
Only changes I've made to the GCC was adding graphite/lto support. I tried
using an older branch(Pro-B9) but that didn't work either.
I'm using a PSP 2000 model with OFW 6.60. Flashed it back to stock thinking it
was just a problem with Pro-B9 at first.

It might be because the patch doesn't work with the code in the repo anymore.
It seems to only patch the python scripts and not the .l files.

On that note it builds of you manually change the .l files, but the CIPL still
causes a brick if you actually use it.

I'll do more testing when I get the sdk rebuilt.
