Install PRO-B 639 on PSP 1000
OFW 6.39

After installation, when asked to press X to start CFW, do so
and got a black screen with a message:

Unsupported firmware version detected
Pls poweroff psp.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
XMB interface. Black screen with message

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
PSP Fat 1000 OFW 6.39

Please provide any additional information below.
OFW 6.39 downloaded from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=86AK69A3
Link provided on Wololo's site.

I have tried the latest PRO Release, 639PRO-B6
as well as the lates nigthly build as June 9th 2011.

Reinstalling any of this versions do not fix the issue.

I've been testing all nighty builds and previous official builds on 2 PSP 1g
and have never encounter this issue.

I think you need to provide more info, like mobo model, id storage data,
previous firmware history.

You have failed upgrading, i think

Resolution is this:

First, Downgrade to 6.32 or 6.35
  Second, Upgrade to 6.39
  Finally, Install PRO B6

(OFW 6.39 that you downloded is same as mine from SONY.
But newest OFW has to be downloaded directly from SONY)

Found the problem, nothing to do with te CFW.
Ages ago I had 5.33M, and installed IRShell with the autoboot plugin.
This plugin remains even after several OFW updates. When installing PRO-B
as it reads the plugin configuration the IrShell tries to autoboot and fails.
The message "Unsupported firmware version detected
Pls poweroff psp." is from IRSHell. Removing the plugin resolves the problem
with the current an nightly builds of PRO. Sorry to have bothered you.
