The proxy settings are ignored in Windows KVirc 4.x #979

Reported by dioxide on 29 Sep 2010 02:04:12 UTC I tried with both 4.0.2 and 4.1.1, attempting to use a socks4 or 5 proxy, kvirc ignores the settings completely and connects to the destination server using my main ip. I didn't try setting the global proxy, because I only want to use the socks proxy for irc.

Did you mess WinSock up? :p

nevermind this, i was just doing it wrong. found out how to get it working. cannot kill the ticket myself.
