Each Extended Capacity skill (Novice, Adept, Greater) gives a bonus spell slot and can be purchased multiple times to give more slots of that tier. But on each purchase, they need to allow a sphere to be selected to apply the slot to.
This could potentially be implemented with an Option or a Choice (or whatever comes out of #76). At the moment, Option skills can have multiple ranks, so that's viable. It could also make sense for classes that grant these to use the appropriate sphere, though that's up to the rules folks to decide.
