Update install instructions based on linux install #16

These changes are definitely a little Linux (ubuntu) focused but I tried to write them in as generic a way as possible. It might be good to have another person try this install to see if I'm missing anything.

Also fixed some typos

Yeah, I left the *nix commands as is to indicate where they originated. I've really only used arch and Ubuntu but packages were usually pretty similar. Any thoughts on how to better represent this?

I would just mention that commands are Ubuntu specific such as to be relevant but some change may be required for other operating systems or configurations.
