Evolve the 3D shapes in the rooms #77

Now that the shapes are in the rooms, we need a way to evolve them. I think that if we get this working, we will be in a place to do human subject studies in the fall. We just need to decide what the mechanics are. If you target a shape and click a button, then some visible indication that is has been selected should appear (surround in a transparent shell, or an outline on the floor). Then, the user selects a portal and goes through it to get to the next room, and the shapes depend on the selected shape in the previous room.

Things will get a bit complicated though. For example, although the wall art depends entirely on what portal you went through, what happens if you go back into a previous room, select a different 3D shape in that room, and then proceed forward through the same portal? I think that the shapes should change! Similarly, if you go back into a previous room and then select another portal, although the wall art will be different, the shapes would be the same as in the other room you advanced into before.

This actually introduces a potential game mechanic ... trying to get some kind of correspondence between the 3D shapes and the 2D art in order to progress or unlock a door.
