I think there is an opportunity here to make use of the view transitions API and upgrade Astro at the same time.

The layout for the landing page feels pretty janky in general.

Maybe there is an overlay that hides the background and highlights the options.

  1. Get the text to be positioned a little lower than it is.
  2. Try to get a background overlay effect on hover.

So, I think I have the very basic styling done. But there seems to be a bug of the animation flashing and returning to its starting point.
