i'm the wntjq69 on uc, my solution was temporary and very ghetto (since i have little to no knowledge when it comes to direct x). it removes ability to disable anti-aliasing. you should look for more proper solution.

also some of the changes on this pr isn't even requird to get it working on d3d9ex, you should remove them (hint hint bool fixedPath)
