kate and kde-settings-manager #185

I've tried this both with and without kwin, with borders and no-borders, with or without window decorations.

When I start kate it only shows me the empty space where the applications is supposed to show. Clicking on the correspondent task on the taskbar doesn't work. Trying other actions like maximizing, resizing, does show the window and after that relaunching kate works normally, but if I switch to a different desktop the problem is back.

Similar issue with kde-settings-manager: it shows an empty window and I need to either maximize or resize to fix it, but ONLY if it's not the only window on the screen. When I open it on an empty desktop, it works fine.

Which script version? I suggest updating to 2.1, as 2.0 had a number of important fixes in this area.

oh ok the version KDE provides is 2.0. I'll try that thanks

EDIT: latest version seems to solve the issues. thanks again!
