the problem should also affect your addon. Or? If yes, do you already have a solution?

New kernel has fb0 and fb1 crossword. Until it's fixed:

Workaround is to set a custom blank file: /sys/class/graphics/fb1/blank

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Hopefully Victron will fix this soon. At which time, the above hack will prevent blanking. Just run setup again and specify HDMI 0 again.
