A way to get budding amethyst

Amethyst is a good quality of life item, but doesn't have any great mechanical uses. E.g., a telescope isn't necessary, it's just nice to have. And tinted glass is handy, but solid blocks are just as functional. I don't think it should be difficult for a dedicated player to obtain plenty of amethyst shards in skyblock.

In order to encourage farming, I would like to see a way for budding amethyst to be renewable. It should be fairly rare, but not prohibitive. I am thinking it could be a rare drop from a mob, or a common drop from a rare mob that doesn't provide much else already.

Budding amethyst can now be crafted using one nether star and two shulker shells.
