Task Requirements

• Design a mock test or unit test framework to simulate sensor input for testing purposes.
• Create a mock sensor class or module that mimics the behavior of the physical sensor.
• Implement functionality to simulate specific sensor occurrences (e.g., proximity detection, motion) within the test environment.
• Integrate the mock sensor into the Flask application for testing the full data pipeline.
• Ensure that the mock sensor data is correctly sent to the database, simulating a real-world sensor interaction.
• Create unit tests to validate the behavior of the mock sensor, including edge cases (e.g., no detection, continuous detection).
• Ensure the test suite can run without the need for the physical sensor to be present.
• Document how to run the mock tests and what they simulate.

Acceptance Criteria

• [ ] Documentation is provided on how to run the mock tests and what scenarios they simulate.
