I am not sure whether I have the same issue with you, I am on patch 13.23. The client is fine, but the game never starts. It crashes right away after champion selection.
The only useful crash information is this. I suspect it to be a wm issue.
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
However, after a few reinstalling, (I even tried lutris), the game still never starts, but now I cannot get any info when crashing even with -v flag.
I confirm that after 13.23 patch client works well but game never starts. I can upload a video if it can be of any help.
I attach the logs of '~/.local/share/leagueoflegends/drive_c/Riot Games/League of Legends/Logs'
I will try to do some more research but I don't know how it works but i can try to contribute and be of help.
Thanks. Logs.zip
Same for me, after 1 week working hard i just updated to finally play and just encountered that after champ select the game doesn't work hahaha.
Same, PBE was broken for the entirety of the new TFT set preview and is now broken on live, possible anti-cheat?
Prior to the new patch everything just worked. Post patch:
I have the same issue, I'm on Arch with i3 as my WM and a Radeon 6500 XT as GPU (using amdgpu drivers).

From the reddit megathread, it is starting to look like a riot bug as there are win10/11 users chiming in with the exact same problems in response to the Linux users posting the problem.
I wish Rito would refund my LP loss then :disappointed:
Adding my logs for visibility. I don't see a specific error when the client tries to load the match, but right before it fails, the lines @caseyjp11 posted (0708:err:ole:marshal_object Failed to create an IRpcStubBuffer from IPSFactory for {00000114-0000-0000-c000-000000000046} with error 0x80004002
) appear, as well as directly after.

Riot is looking at the Linux reports as well...and a TON of the same issues are being reported by win10/11 users as well. Quoting from the sticky: From this Megathread the list of bugs will not be summarized and put up in the main body of the thread, however, note that many Rioters are going through every single comment so don't worry if you post the 1500th or 3000th comment, every reply will be read over the next few days.
@trainzkid lastly...on the linux client -post patching- I NEVER try and run a 'real' match. I try co-op vs. AI or the practice tool to test first. Nice way of avoiding 'real' penalties. :-)

That's true, i learned that we must do it every patch.
yep its busted :(
I'm usually fine jumping straight into a legit match, especially since I don't always notice when a new patch has dropped (sometimes, it's too quick for me to notice), but this time I got caught with my pants down 😵💫
Same here. Client opens, pick fase and everything but the game itself doesn't work.
still waiting .. :'( at least i'm sleeping better while bug is up
Over on the Discord "league of Linux" channel, they've cracked the issue(s) and Lutris now has a patched wine which is running the game again. Any ETA for us? I don't use Lutris as LoL is the only game non-steam that I use, and this solution worked far better for me.

Kyechou's the maintainer of wine-lol-staging on the AUR, I'm sure the fix will come soon.
Crapy test: I replace the files in wine-lol-staging with the archive files from https://github.com/NelloKudo/WineBuilder/releases/tag/wine-lol-9.0-rc1. It work well!
The league of legends launcher runs smoothly, better than on lutris. But when i start an actual game (after champion selection), i get the windows pop-up "Could not initialize graphics device". I already restarted my machine.
