Does not compile under a linux system #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. ./configure
2. make
3. error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to tell me I don't have some include or something or compile
cleanly.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The Oct 10th version, on a gentoo system.

Please provide any additional information below.

Even if it compiled on a Linux system, AFAIK it wouldn't work because the setup
requires the iPhone drivers that are installed by iTunes, as well as the user 
land
stub code (dlls or frameworks) that are used by iTunes to talk to the driver.
