Segmentation fault on sending 694-5259-38.dmg

I'm trying to do a manual jailbrek as I ran into some problem when updating
to 1.1.1 and now iNdependnece is not working anymore.

So I installed iphuc on my 10.4 intel machine and got myself the 1.0 fw file. 

The phone itself is running fine, but it cannot be synced with itunes (says
it cannot write). Cannot be restored in itunes (says unknown error after
the phone was rebooting, sortly showng the rotatic circle at the bottom and
then looks like it crashed(flash of screen, then reboot again)) 

When I try to do grestore fw/ where the fw dir is holding the unpacked fw
files I get:

(iPHUC Recovery) #: grestore fw/
debug: grestore fw/
Entering G-Restore ... 
Segmentation fault

Having an idea what could be causing this? Just ask if you need more
information.

Ok, problem fixed, this was due to some memory probs on my mac which was 
corrupting
the fw image used for jailbreaking. Everything working again now. *phew*

i too am getting this error, however I dont see any memory problems on my mac. 
What problems did you have? and how did you solve them? thank you
