It would be beneficial to be able to have the "White Noise" tool be able to use audio other than the built in sound. Some people may not find the built in default sound helpful for sleeping/relaxing. Ideas of other white noise sounds that could be used are below.
Sound of Rain - Many people like the sound of rain and this can help people sleep
Sound of a fire/campfire
Sound of a fan
Sound of crickets/bugs/night noises
Ability to take a sample of any white noise sound the user wants through the use of their microphone. This would be useful to allow the user to use whatever white noise sound they desire and save it for the app for future use. The user would have an option to start recording a white noise sound of something such as rain, fire, bugs (since these are sounds that are out in nature) etc. for a set time period of maybe 10, 30 or 60 seconds and the app saves that with a name the user provides. Once the user selects the sound the app then plays that sound over and over in a loop until the user cancels or the timer ends. Not sure how feasible or good sounding it would be to replay the sound over and over.
Thanks, I'll look into packaging some free/recorded sounds if it doesn't take up a lot of space - but I may just have it so the user can upload their own sound(s) to use.
