Hmmm, but we've already got a deep lens.

Sorry, just spotted your project today while hoping to do something similar. How successful were you with the Deep Lens approach?

deep lens seems a little underpowered. the built-in wifi is super slow and the device itself would occasionally get overwhelmed & reboot during image capture. i think i'm going to try the hardware from the article when i restart this project.
