Unable to perform meta-analysis with two studies #6

Hi @kylehamilton ,

This is reposted from the jamovi issue tracker as you requested.

I am currently analyzing data for/from systematic reviews and some of the variables in question only have two studies to pool. While I can do it perfectly fine in R or RevMan, jamovi with MAJOR keeps throwing the following error: 'number of parameters to be estimated is larger than the number of observations'. If you add a third line, even if filled with 0's, the analysis is performed without any hitch. Something deserving a look?

Thank you for your attention and such an useful module!

Same issue here. Any progress or recommendations??

Got the same problem. Is there any workaround or solution for this?

The new ESCI jamovi module can handle just two studies, the analysis options are limited though

Hello Kyle, can I ask whether is any progress resolving this issue in the MAJOR module? I am running 1.2.1.
