not working because of sn's newest update #13

it seems like some of the installed extensions, like the folders component and some editor extensions, are not working on the newest update of standard notes. i tried re-installing the extensions and restarting my desktop app, but it still won't work.

turned off automatic update for future updates, but i hope there's a way for these extensions to work on the newest update of sn.

I'm having the same issue with Folders Component, which I use heavily. I removed it and re-added it through the desktop app and the issue is the same. I believe it might have to do with the Folders extension activation being locked behind an account paywall check.

Sorry I have not fully looked into this. But it is in fact working on my personal account.

However, I did just receive an email from SN mentioning that they are making the folders component into a native part of the app: https://blog.standardnotes.com/33143/folders-from-extension-to-native

So maybe that has something to do with it.

Thank you for this! I have read this, and I would just like to clarify if SN is making it a native part of the app for the plus and pro accounts, or could we still actually access and use it even with our free accounts?

Just getting to this. Yes the folders component appears to be borked.

Went over to the official repo to see if anyone else reported this, but it looks like the repo has been archived: https://github.com/standardnotes/folders-component

Unless they moved it elsewhere, I have to assume they are no longer supporting that version of the folders component in favor of the native implementation.
